NEW YORK – Next week a massive hiring event will be held for The Mount Sinai Medical Center, which is looking to take on 90 temporary technology trainers to help instruct staff on how to use its new electronic health record system.

Mount Sinai, a 1,171-bed, tertiary-care teaching facility in New York, is implementing an EHR form Verona, Wis.-based Epic Systems Corporation. In order to ease the transition away from paper, the hospital is looking to take on these new workers for three-to-six months
